Violets, heal-all, dandelions, and gill-over-the-ground have been in blossom for some days.
The many trees that budded out before the early April snowstorm show the effects of that freezing weather. The pink magnolia in our yard was in full bloom. The ruined flowers are still on the branches.
The cold snap had silenced the peepers but yesterday (April 20th) I heard them again.
